Despite the tense political tension between China and the United States over trade and tariffs, Park City artist Susan Swartz is using her art to help connect future business opportunities between China and Utah. 

The Utah delegation also had the opportunity to join forces with globally-renowned Utah artist Susan Swartz, pianist Mary Anne Huntsman and other prominent leaders from the arts and philanthropies at the grand opening of Susan Swartz’s art exhibition, titled Personal Path, at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, China’s most prestigious art institution.

The Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art at UC Davis launches its summer season on Saturday, June 30. “Breaking Away: 2006-2018,” Susan Swartz’s museum debut on the West Coast, features new work straight from the artist’s studio.

 The first exhibition in Russia of works by contemporary American artist Susan Swartz has opened in the Marble Palace. It includes around 100 paintings of various years from the collections of foreign museum, private collections, and the artist’s personal archive.

Susan Swartz inherited her creative gene from a family of artists and musicians and has been painting for more than forty years. Since 1998, Swartz has devoted herself to painting full-time in Park City, Utah, and Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
