Sundance Film Festival 2025

The annual Sundance Film Festival 2025 officially concluded on Sunday, February 2nd. It is always one of our favorite events of the year in Park City as we get to reconnect with collectors and meet new faces visiting from all over the world. We opened our new exhibition Transient Nature showcasing Susan’s work that returned from its debut at the 60th Venice Biennale. Titled Impermanence, the two-person exhibition was presented in Venice by Georges Bergès Gallery and featured the work of Susan Swartz and Laddie John Dill.

We were thrilled to host the world premiere party for Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore, directed by Shoshanna Stern, celebrating Matlin's powerful and inspiring journey.

The Oscar nominations happened during the Festival, and we were pleased to learn that Sugarcane was nominated for Best Documentary. We were thrilled to host their premiere party in 2024.

We enjoyed visiting with the team from JOLT, the new film platform.  As always we were thrilled to see special visitors including Sundance Institute Board Member Pat Mitchell, her husband Scott Seydel, and former Sundance Institute Trustee Jacki Zehner. Congratulations to the filmmakers on an outstanding roster of films debuting this year!
