SUSAN SWARTZ STUDIOS WINTER RECAP
Susan Swartz has had a busy and exciting year, highlighted by the opening of her eponymous art gallery.
Susan Swartz Studios, located at 260 Main Street, Park City, officially opened its doors on February 9th. It features paintings spanning the past 15 years of Swartz’s career –- her signature aspen works as well as her new, modern abstract pieces. The gallery has received much praise and has helped further Swartz’s reputation. It provides a beautiful and tranquil space for contemplative appreciation of Swartz’s relation with her art and the natural world.

Thus begins Park City Magazine's feature of Susan in their Summer/Fall 2013 issue just out today. Written by Wendy Lavitt, "True Colors" details much of Susan's artistic journey since moving to Utah.
DALE CHIHULY AT THE KIMBALL ART CENTER
For the first time in Utah, legendary glass artist, Dale Chihuly will exhibit a famous and sought-after collection, Chihuly Venetians, at the Kimball Art Center in Park City. On October 8th, the Kimball Art Talk series will features a discussion led by the team responsible for installing all glass works by Chihuly. Denny Park Fine Arts (DPFA), a Seattle based company, is the only company authorized by the Chihuly Studio to provide cleaning, de-installation, packing, moving and storage of Chihuly artwork. The Chihuly exhibit will run October 13, 2012 through January 6, 2013 in the Main Gallery at the Kimball Art Center.
KIMBALL ART CENTER: DESIGNING AN ARTISTIC COMMUNITY
Art, community and environmental sustainability are three of Susan’s most passionate subjects, so a project that blends all three was sure to pique her interest. This past spring, the Kimball Art Center, a non-profit community art center in Susan’s home base of Park City, Utah announced the winner of its year-long remodel design competition, which was heavily judged by members of the entire community.
