For the first time in Deer Valley from February 21 through 23, 2014, The Kimball Winter Art Salon showcased and offered the work of a handful of world renowned artists and public figures. Included were the paintings of Susan Swartz, the glasswork of Dale Chihuly, the sculpture and jewelry of Linda Lee Johnson, the jewelry of Alexandra Hart, and the lithographs of Nelson Mandela and HRH The Prince of Wales.

Taking place at the height of the winter season in Park City, this event interwove the styles of these various artists to reflect the beauty of the natural surroundings and to highlight the ways in which the works complement and contrast with one another. Patrons of the Salon were treated to more than just a visual feast, they were given a glimpse into the souls of the artists- with political figures' work displayed alongside the creations of lifelong craft makers.

Open from 10am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday, and 8am to noon on Sunday, The Kimball Winter Art Salon was held at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley and supported the Kimball Art Center.
